Annual General Meeting of Anstey RFC held on 6th June 2010 at Coach & Horses, Anstey Meeting opened 11.05 am Attending: Chris Apperley (chair) Ian Pollock, Imran Kalia, Kam Kalia, David Hobbs, Ash Street, Apologies for absence: Alan Chapman, Ray Apperley, Matt Belcher 1. 2009 minutes approved. IP proposed IP, AS seconded, unanimous in favour. No matters arising 2. Reports: Secretary, no report, Club Captain no report 3. Annual Subscriptions for 2010/11 agreed at £10, IK proposed, RF seconded, unanimous in favour. 4. Match Fees for 2010/11 agreed at £5, IP proposed, DHF seconded, unanimous in favour. 5. No proposed amendments to constitution, although some may be needed after Club becomes Ltd. 6. Executive Committee elections: With the exception of 1st Team Captain all above voted on unanimous. Meeting Closed Midday 1st committee meeting of the season will be Tuesday August 3rd, and then every first Tuesday of month throughout season.

Anstey RFC AGM 2009, Coach & Horses, 11.00 Sunday 14 Jun 2009.
Present: Ray Apperley, Ash Street, Chris Apperley (chmn), Pete Carter, Chris Stitson, Mick Kenny, Howard Hughes, Lee Hopewell, Steve Marvin, Alan Chapman.
1. Apologies: I Pollock, D Hobbs, P Toon.
2. 2008 AGM notes: approved (proposer RA, seconded PC, vote unanimous).
3. Finance: Bank balance £4,070, accounting for cheques awaiting clearance. No outstanding payments. Sponsorship from Ulverscroft Group had not been received and is now considered unlikely. Other sponsorship and fundraising suggestions were made and members were encouraged to pursue these appropriately. A donation of £100 from M Kenny (Club Hon.VP) was given at the meeting and thanks expressed by all. Audited accounts for 2008/9 and 2007/08 are with Clive Williams being completed. Treasurer to pursue.
4. Annuals and match fees: Agreed annuals £10, match fees £5, to remain unchanged (RA, AS, unan).

AOB: Anstey RFC will play in the Leicestershire League Div 2 in the coming season 2009/10, provisionally comprising: Loughborough 3rds, Market Bosworth 3rds, Aylestone St. James 2nds, Lutterworth 2nds, Shepshed, Old Newtonians 2nds, Market Harborough 2nds, and Anstey.

1. Apologies: Ray Apperley, R Field, A Street, J Robinson.
2. 2007 AGM notes and audited accounts for 2005/6, 2006-7: approved (PT, AC, unanimous).
3. 2008 end of season financials: dep a/c £6,300. Current a/c inc subs to be paid in £873; invoices outstanding being paid £1450 (refs bills £99; ground rent £150, dinner dance £1200). Money will be transferred to current from dep a/c to cover shortfall, and then replaced on receipt of £1,000 Ulverscroft Books sponsorship promised September. Given that this includes £500 restrospective for 2007-8 season the club has basically broken even for season just ended. R Field was unable to attend meeting and left clear accounts and explanatory note in ceasing as treasurer at season end.

RFU Player Recruitment Campaign referees never to have to pay for their own beer at Anstey (skippers/all); and an informal 7s tournament and BBQ in August, date TBA (PT). |
